Shhh!

Every night it seems like an ordeal to put Jake to bed. It used to be that his routine was dinner - then bath - then ready for bed. Nowadays, he seems to get re-energized after his bath that he ends up sleeping late. The other day, he took a nap after the Big Guy picked him up from daycare and he didn't wake up until 8pm. So of course, he wasn't sleepy on his normal sleeping time and he ended up falling asleep at midnight!

Last night, as we were putting him down, we were pretending to be sleeping so he would close his eyes and sleep as well. Since he showed no signs of sleeping, the Big Guy and I started talking to each other, then to him, just talking. When all of a sudden, Jake said "Mama.. Daddy.. SHHHHHHH!!!!" Go figure!
