Happy Friday

... the husband's home with the boy - he's off again today. Man, I wish I worked for the government.

... the boys went to my neices' school since the little one is Student of the Month and received an award today. According to the Big Guy, B was at her best behavior and was ecstatic to see him, Jake and Papa come. She even asked if she can show Jake to her classmates.

... Headed off to the snow for the weekend. Should be fun. Grandma and Papa bought Jake the cutest snow boots! Went to Target yesterday with Jake and they no longer carry snowsuits. Bummer. It's ok - Grandma got him a bib.

... J&C came over for dinner on Wednesday. C had her oath taking for her citizenship. Congratulations, C! Jake was amused rubbing her tummy saying hi to Baby Josh. BTW, J&C are having a boy.

... Found THE best creme brulee' yet at Santana Row's Cocola Bakery. YUMMY! For 2 nights in a row, the boys and I went there to get some treats. The first night, we got 1 creme brulee, 1 green tea mousse and 1 tiramisu plus madeleine and macaroons for Jake. The next night, in time for dinner with J&C, we got another creme brulee, another tiramisu, 1 hazelnut cake and 1 bamboo (which is mango mousse). YUM!!!! The hazelnut tasted just like one big piece of Ferrero - yummy. And my fixation with mango was indulged with the bamboo mousse. It's a MUST try and highly recommended.
