Too Funny!!

So while watching American Idol with the boys last night - the husband and I both commented on how Leona Lewis (the guest artist for the week) is a really good singer, and how we both thought she was very pretty.

The husband: "She's a pretty mulata."

Me: "I know."

Jake: "What does mulata mean?"

Daddy: "It means your mommy and daddy have different skin colors (to make it easy for him to understand, not necessarily all that PC!). Like her mommy is white, and her daddy is..."

Jake: "Her daddy is brown?"

Daddy: "Yes Jake."

Jake: "Oh...just like you and Mama!"
