Santa's Gift for Jake ---

Last night was quite a journey, just to make sure we have Santa's Gift for Jake all picked up and ready for him to open by Christmas. Last year, Santa's Helper (aka the UPS man) had us on edge but managed to pull through and delivered Barry on time. This year, we decided we will not procrastinate. So at 5:30, the Boys and I were on our way to Burlingame - the only closest babystyle in the area. We seemed to have underestimated the traffic on 101, plus the rain...because it took us forever to get there. Nuts! The Big Guy got off of 101..took El Camino instead..turned out it wasn't such a good idea so back to 101 we were...finally getting to Burlingame 10 mins before the store was going to close. He dropped me off to make sure I get in and get the car, while he and Jake parked the car. One car, one cow and one raincoat later, we accomplished what we came for and sighed with glee. I just love that store.

We ended up driving down to San Mateo and had dinner at the mall (gasp! Mall food!). Ate. Shopped a little at Cost Plus and when Jake started whining in the middle of the food section, we realized it was time to go home.

One gift out of the way...more to check off later.
